It’s mid-August and Jim Munafo, Jr. has been busy knocking on doors and meeting with people throughout the district, listening to their concerns. The Top 3 concerns are jobs, high taxes and the economy – three things that our current representatives on Beacon Hill seem reluctant to do anything about. If you want to help Jim become a part of the solution, here are some events where you can meet Jim and support Vote Munafo!

Saturday, August 21: Join Jim in attending a special Salute the Troops Ceremony honoring our Troops and Gold Star Families at 10:30 AM during the 2nd Annual Canal Run/Walk for the Troops sponsored by Cape Cod Cares for Our Troops held at the Buzzards Bay Recreation Area (along the CC Canal next to the train bridge). Registration for the 1st running event starts at 7 AM and activities including live music, face painting, raffles, and more continue through lunch. Monday, August 30: Jim and other area candidates will be showcased at the Meet the Candidates Forum at the Barnstable Senior Center, 825 Falmouth Road (Rt. 28), Hyannis. From 3-5 PM you will be able to hear the 10th Congressional Candidates and State Senate Candidates. The State Representative Candidates, including Jim, will speak starting at 5 PM.

The audience will have a chance to ask questions of the candidates. So, bring a good question and a friend to this event and support Jim!

Sunday, September 12: Join Jim and the Vote Munafo Team for an afternoon on the golf course – mini-golf course that is! This family friendly “fun”draiser will take place from 4-7 PM thanks to our generous friends at the beautiful Sandwich Mini-Golf, 157 Route 6A, Sandwich. Not only will you be able to test out your mini-golfing skills, but you will also be able to enjoy pleasant company and light refreshments as you support Jim’s campaign for State Representative! Campaign donations will be accepted.
